"The work intends to produce mutation within a continued evolution of my processs. The drawings are produced very slowly. They connect themselves visually and conceptually to assimilating with geological time and sound waves. I have inverted my method, in that rather than responding to a sound that yields a pictorial result, I am responding to a visual [line] that yields a spectrographic result. I also see these works as internal expressions. The slow and obsessive nature of the process literally places me within the work at a microscopic [microphonic] vantage. The drawings are built by repeatedly re-interpreting the previous line drawn and are intended to be translated into sound by way of considering themas Graphic Scores.
I draw TIME because I am interested in form outside of control, outside of politics and outside of economics.
I draw VOICE because I am curious about the potential to confound Artificial Intelligence and challenge the bureaucracy of the mind."
